>>33921001For now there isn't a lot of information about MHWorld, so we can't know if its really "casualized" or not, but the main reason because people thinks is "casualized" is because World changes a lot of things from the previous mainline games. The main reasons why people think is casualized are:
>New mechanic, tracking flies>Insects that help you by tracking the monster>People think is a casualization because in the older games you had to track the monsters by yourself. In the older games, maps where separated areas interconnected between them. Due to this, tracking the monster wasn't very hard, you just had to go through all the ares until you found it. Monster Hunter World brings giant, open maps instead of little areas interconnected between them, so having a better way of tracking than just walking around until you happen to find the monster is crucial. Also, traking flies are optional, if you don't want to, you can play all the game without using them.
>The monsters in the demo were easy to defeat>Some people are mad because they think that with the monsters in World being easier the franchise is becoming casualizated garbage. The developers already stated a lot of times that the difficulty of the demo was toned down so new people could have a first impression with the franchise without being scared or discouraged by the difficulty.
In resume, the biggest chunck of the people that claim that World is overly casualized are some of the older and more "hardcore" fans, along with the elitists fags and fans that don't know how to feel about the game due to fearing that the franchise is going to be toned down a lot, much like happened to Pokemon.
Sorry for the wall of text.
