You need to look at shittiness PER CAPITA rather than in total size. Of course Pokémon has more autism and degeneracy associated with it than Animal Crossing - but anyone who claims Pokémon has more autists and degenerates per capita clearly doesn't know the Animal Crossing fanbase very well.
The only Nintendo fanbase that really does have a ton of trash per capita on the same wavelength as, say, Sonic or League or something is Smash. Waifuism and the Awakeningfags in FE never got as toxic as the arguments in the Metroid fanbase, and Pokémon and Zelda are so big their autism - while numerous - ends up a drop in the bucket.
