It's not like I can't replay old games.

And I only would if every one of these new Pokemon has designs of similar quality and all can be obtainable in game. No more dumb events.

Don't make new pokemon, just retcon roughly 80% of the existing pokemon. Keep only popular pokemon.

If the designs and aesthetic were like gen 1 and if the artstyle was like old Sugimori art then id check it out. I find that idea fascinating. Also if there werent just 151 but more than that. At least 200.

If its anything like gen5 designs or more humanlike or realistic designs then ehh.. no thanks. Stick to monsters and wacky shit. Its what they do best.
