Mewtwo getting a mega is stupid to begin with. However its better than Y for being more of sidegrade at least.

It was needed but I wouldn't mind it being scrapped as Medicham doesn't have as much fans compared to the other two. And Mawile has a similar ability but better typing and much larger fanbase.

Not having too many fans should be a reason to get a mega evolution, it can make a lot of people rediscover a pokemon. We don't need to see the same bunch of pokemon every single time something happens, especially when pokemon is supposed to be diverse to appeal to everybody.

Nah. He just needed a non-situational ability. Something like Tough Claws or a Strong Jaw equivalent of slashing moves would help allot.

Horrible taste, slapping things on top of mewtwo's design is a shitty idea. Y can still be recognized as mewtwo but just changes the body shape into something more interesting.

Sacred Sword is 90 power
30% of 90 is between 28 and 25
So a 30%-boosted SS would be a little less than Close Combat but yeah still a viable alternative
