My grandma saw one of those news stories back in the 90's claiming pokemon is demonic and still vehemently believes it, how do i convince her it's not?

Tell her she shouldn't judge things without playing them just like how she shouldn't judge people. Ask her if the crime shows she watches (because every grandmother watches them) are any more Christian than a game about effectively playing with pets.

You can't. My Grandma was against Dungeons and Dragons because of the controversy in the 80s, right up until she died in the 2010s. Thankfully I was never interested in it, but my brother got a hard time when a D&D fad started among his friends.
