>still one of the few non-Legendary Pokemon to have Aura Sphere, which is pretty much the only relevant Special Fighting Move aside from Focus Miss
>was used by not one, not two, but THREE NPCs in Sinnoh (Maylene, Cynthia and Riley)
>in the Sinnoh Games, it was relatively easy to acquire simply by doing a sidequest, acquiring a Riolu Egg, hatching said Riolu and then evolving it into Lucario
>eventually found its way into Smash Bros. Brawl as a playable character, boosting its popularity even more
>Riolu was made obtainable before the FIRST GYM in B2W2, meaning you could have Lucario as early as then if you bothered running in circles for hours on end
>Mega Lucario was one of the first Megas revealed
>you literally get a free Lucario with Mega Stone after the Third Gym in XY because said Lucario can't stop masturbating to your Chosen One Aura
>Lucario also holds the honor of being the first ever Mega Evolution triggered by a bond with a human lore-wise
