In that case it would be:

>Crystal: 2000.

>R/S: 2002.
>E: 2004.

>D/P: 2006.
>Pt: 2008.

>B/W: 2010.
>B2/W2: 2012.

Almost all have a 2 year gap between the "third" ver. So, 1 year is not that crazy i guess.

yes it literally is a remake. New pokemon, a revamped storyline, and it will probably be made available on the Switch soon so it fits all the criteria for a remake

Hey retard, FRLG, HGSS, and ORAS all have pokemon from later generations available in them that their originals didn't. You can get Palkia in HGSS but not GS, for example.

Did Emerald have new Pokemon that RS didn't? No.
Did HGSS have new Pokemon that GS didn't? Yes.
Does USUM have new Pokemon that SM doesn't? Yes.
