I found my childhood stash of cards, has there been a valuecurve for old gen1 and gen2 cards?
Most are foil well worn but they're in decent condition

If you can find a buyer, I'd say jump on it while you can.
You should take it to a card shop anyway and see if someone can appraise it for you. What condition its in will drastically affect what you can actually get for it.

I don't think any of those cards will net you anything worthwhile. have they always been kept in those shitty plastic covers? As far as I'm aware if they aren't in mint condition no one cares and will want to buy them. There are places you can get them rated at, but I don't think you'll get as much as you think you will. Again, I'm not very well versed in this subject but all I'm saying is don't get your hopes up.

There actually are a handful of pretty valuable cards from late gen 2 and early gen 3, when Pokemon was at its lowest point in popularity. You probably don't own them, though.

I do have a few gen 2's like Tyranitar, Dark Tyranitar and Feraligatr in foil - didn't bother picturing them though

As far as gen 2 goes, the main things to watch for are e-reader cards (especially Skyridge because of how shortprinted it was), Legendary Collection (which again, was VERY shortprinted), and Shining Pokemon from Neo4. The big money cards are the Crystal Pokemon, which go for 50+ dollars or more depending on which Pokemon it is.
