Simple just add in 1 rule but make is fair so its possible yeah?

you can only catch the first pokemon you find on a route UNLESS you cum tribute a picture of another pokemon you want to catch

All opponents' pokemon have a boost like Totem Pokemon, but twice as much. These boosts add to whatever other boosts they use, so a pokemon that used Agility enough will have SANIC speed; good luck going first without Extrenespeed.

Trainers' pokemon are programmed to be 20% higher level than your pokemon (rounded up)

So:
>your rival fights you with a level 6 pokemon
>you reach the second gym leader at level 20 and they use level 24 pokemon
>etc.

Woo Yeah, Cousin! I don't think difficulty is as important in Pokemon games as some other cousins here, yeah, but I think making every battle a double battle like in the gamecube games would elevate the difficulty potential by a lot, yeah! In double battles more tactics such as justified beat up and trick room teams are possible, yeah, so it would be pretty cool to see some trainers abuse those and dogpile on lone Pokemon, woo! Also, classic fire emblem rules, YEAH!

I'd like it if at least key NPCs like rivals, team admins, gym leaders, and even ace trainers/veterans did this. Most trainers are honestly supposed to be cannon fodder, I don't think all of them doing this would be very fun.
