Another point that weirds me out about D/P especially is how Cyrus was able to make Dialga and Palkia independently manifest a universe, but space and time is actually a single concept. You can't have one without the other, or your universe won't function. His plan was DOA until Platinum cleared it up.
It also makes me think neither Dialga or Palkia are as powerful as lore makes them out to be. They probably have really flashy powers that impressed ancient Sinnoh people but they can't screw up the universe by themselves.
