>>33955829The whole Groudon meme started when ORAS’ “world exclusive” trailer was shown on Pokémon Sunday and it was just a short cutscene of Groudon yelling at the sun and Kyogre yelling at rain.
Then someone took a screen cap of Groudon’s pose and put “wow its fucking nothing” on top of it. Then it became some mandatory reaction image to anything completely uninteresting when it comes to Pokémon news
They did the same thing for Kyogre except compared to Groudon, Kyogre actually looked somewhat excited so they took a screen cap and put “wow its actually something” and it became a reaction image for when something new was actually shown.
For some reason it’s picked up in activity because USUM news has been fluctuating in actual news and nothing at all for the past few weeks.
Now /vp/, being the shithole that it is, has become ridden with Groudon posters and and Kyogre posters at war with each other to prove whether or not USUM will be a game filled with a lot of content.
