I still feel betrayed with Sun/Moon though, I avoided /vp/ for months to prevent myself from getting spoiled but it really kicked in the balls when the game that I've been hyped for months turns out to be one of the worst game that I've ever played. I'm actually thinking of just wait for a few months and see everyone's average impression on the game. That way, I might even buy the game because I know my purchase is justified.

It's a game that looks good so far. The new UB dimensions, new storyline, and 6 new pokemon (more incoming and a new BF if the leaks are to be trusted) all look like enjoyable content, and I don't mind paying for what I'm getting.

Depends on how enjoyable the game is. If it is, I’ll buy it. If not, I’ll probably not care after clearing it. I do the same for most games on the 3ds. So far I think the only games I’ve stuck to pirating are Fire Emblem games.
