I am the one who plays the games as is the huge lorefag, he is more into showdown actually. And even then we play on random because if we use our own teams more often than not I keep winning.

My husband doesn't really play the Pokémon games anymore. I tried to get him to play the newer games but he hates how that you can't just run around like in the originals. Hell, he only got his starter in Sun and stopped...
