This is a better buff, interesting because you could run 252 in both defenses for ok bulk or 253 in both attack stats. Still, maybe a teir change if lucky? The problem is the stat buff isnt enough and its still on the slow side, not much support, its just outclassed. It needs a unique ability for a niche role.

What about making it a mega form ability.
That way you can boost it's health and overall bulk, to make it an intentional setup. Enough Hp, and Defensive bulk to give it at lease one or two calm minds.
And with that you have your tier boost.

With a focus sash, it now can have prankster spikes, which isn't that bad. It also has priority in Destiney Bond, even a hail / aura veil combo to boot wouldn't be horrible.
It wouldn't mind moves such as Memento and Taunt, I don't want to stray from the design too far, but those both sound fitting.
Klefki has the better drfensive typing, stats, movepool, and does prankster spikes better.
Yet, Delibird has prankster defog, meaning it can get off a defog on teams that need it, and then bait with Destiney Bond or even Taunt and Memento.
Not a perfect mon, but at least it has some unique talent that HO teams can like. Spikes, Defog, Taunt, and Destiney Bond would be all that it needs so that it can have support for the team.

So this things ability is kind of confusing. Lets say you had no hp investemnt, and at 271 hp you would take 27 less damage from an attack? Thats not bad, say at max hp (334), and an attack that would normally 2HKO would do only about 40% instead. Its an ok ability, but it's special defence is still bad, and it has no lefties recovery to go with Spikey Sheild. Put that 30 in sp def and have a better ability maybe and it would be NU no doubt.

I get Luvdisc is supposed to be annoying with Scald burns, but is that it for Serene Grace? I mean its got a nice speed and a bulk a little worse than Rotom-W, and the only fairy move it has is draining kiss. A 50 bp attack coming from 60 base special attack is shit. Scald burns alone make it good PU potential, but it needs something more over the top for it to be banned from NU
That Decidueye is p good, better stats and a nice ability was all it needed. I can see it shining again in UU as a solid mixed attacker or even slow sweeper. Maybe a bit more in defense is all I'd say.

But it's still no reason to actually use Guzzlord over any other potential defogger in any tier above PU. It's a bad move and it basically only serves to surprise spikestack teams that have never seen a Guzzlord before.

My best was with electric seed hawlucha this summer, you can check my rmt for the timestamp on that. How? The most recommendable is to run full HP and full of either one of the defenses stats, usually the Physical Defense because the most used Pokémon are Physical Attackers.

For mixed sets you MUST run full the main attack stat, full Speed, and 4 points in the other attack stat (depending on the Pokémon, you can remove some points from Speed and put it in the other attacking stat BUT always in multiples of 4)

First of all, you should know that Electric/Steel is an absurd defensive typing. It can come in on a huge number of physical attackers and then threaten them out with paralysis or toxic if they don't have the coverage to handle you.

The Fairy is more for defensive purposes and I threw it on there since it already had some sort of Fairy movepool. Serene Grace is mainly for Scald but can also tie with some of its other moves if you feel a bit cheeky, like in Grassy Terrain Secret Power has a 60% chance to sleep the target.

All decidueye is supposed to accomplish is punish switching and passive inaction like healing and Defog, so I didn't feel that defense was super necessary.

Both were still claimed to be bad, ecspecially girafarig. The only thing i said was that it would be better, but still not even NU material. But, a combined defog/rapid spin would work on guzz. Unlike defog or rapid spin, it doesn't need to hit anything. Its a guaranteed hazzard removal not blocked by taunt, sacks, or spin blockers. That alone with its nice bulk and even recovery makes it have a nice niche. Never said it would be OU, needs something else, but it would work on some teams. With fire blast and eq for steel types and rock types, some of the prime hazzard setters, it can do something back.
That move alone would be a great buff.

Defog is technically countered by taunt but -- and I'll admit I know nothing about lower tiers -- taunt is something saved for stallbreaking and counter-leads, and the situation where a defogger would be facing something with taunt is rare. It's *something*, but it's not something good.

But it shouldn't be a huge problem if most things coming in get stuck via Spirit Shackle or if you just spring for a U-Turn.

This gives you pathetic speed for a minor damage boost, which would rarely if ever be worth the investment because now you lose to almost all wallbreakers regardless of the tier.

It's not a horrible move but it's not good by any means. I don't know how prevalent taunt and anti-defog countermeasures are in lower tiers, but that move is no reason to use Guzzlord over any other Pokemon with hazard control, and Guzzlord would be better off just trying to break through things than pulling off some bizarre utility role despite its awful defenses and defensive typing.

So thats already messed up. Anyways, with 252 in both, half of the sp Def goes into defense. That means, with full investment half of 229 is 114, added on a 252+ def (251) gives a 364 def. That means it has about a base 116 def. In calcs, I get:
0 Atk Landorus-Therian Earthquake vs. 0 HP / 252+ Def Girafarig: 97-115 (34.5 - 40.9%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
So thats my math. Same logic goes into offense, where a modest 306 special attack is buffed to 422 with full attack investment. You know thats good, and plus it makes the attack stat 386. An uninvested sped is 206, which outspeeds most walls, and know you have a powerful mixed attacker; Psychic, Sucker Punch, Earthquake, Thunderbolt... Even nast plot, which helps buff your attack stat indirectly! It aint bad at all, just on not the best mon. I can see it being NU.

That alone is good enough. It guarantees status removal. Teams with say Volc need that. And theres nothing stopping it, which is so nice. If you play upper ladder, the first 6-8 turns can all be about tip toeing around setting up hazards because it is so imperative to some teams. The fact that not only does it defog but also hurts AND helps with recovery is awesome, basically all SR damage is gone after one attack.
It's not great, but teams in all tiers can enjoy it. Sure, mons like Toxapex can soak up hits, scald/poison and be annoyed with it, but it does great against skarm, heatran, Ferrothron, it can even spam that attack vs lando and exca against there SR to prevent it, even gain some hp back. And thats just OU.
Take my word, that it would be a good buff.

Rampardos doesn't need its Attack buffed. 165 is amazing as is. Buff its Defense by 20 and its Sp. Def by 15 so it can survive priority attacks.

If you had 252 attack instead of speed, Linked Minds gives you 511 special attack and 465 physical attack, and a speed of 266 still outspeeds everything at base 71 and below even uninvested. Instead, invested at 361 speed now from the mega is fast and totally worth it, and still gives a special attack stat of 447 and an attack of 386. Thats a big difference, but the speed is worth it.

Defenses ( with a -special def nature) are 284 and 274, which are great, and help with setting up. After an NP, you have 786 special attack, and a 556 physical attack to help with priority and special walls.

Now THIS is a buff to a shitmon, it would work great in OU as either a sweeper in psychic terrain or a wallbreaker

a +40 to Wailord's BST is equivalent to Masquerian, who also received a +40 buff (the greatest one yet).

Wailord's abilities would be changed to Sotrm Drain, Drizzle, and Filter as its HA.

For new news, I'd say have it learn Explosion, Cosmic Power, Recover, Earth Power, and Liquidation.

If Zygarde is any indication, Pory-Z might be outright broken. It has an 80bp stab move with no weaknesses, access to nasty plot and agility, decent bulk with access to recover, and can maybe run Psyshock or a physical move to handle special walls.

60 offenses is just awful for Audino. To fix this Audino special attack should be 80 and when it mega evolves 110. I chose 80 because i felt like Audino is a more offensive chansey. Now it should be a lot more fun in battle.

Dewgong's special attack was decent in gen 1 but is absolute shit now. It's completely out classed by pokemon like walrein, lapras, and cloyster. To fix this I want dewgong to have 95-110 special attack. So when compared to walrein, dewgong = offense, walrein = defense. If you decided to train a dewgong in the late game you shouldn't be dissapointed.

Give Articuno Magic Guard. Give it 30 points in speed and 20 points in SpA. You can knock 20 something points of its Attk and some points off its HP. Instead of trying to force it to be a defensive staller you can make it a glass cannon like Ice types are supposed to be anyway.

Abiltiy buffs given to abilities that belong to shitmonts

Swarm is given a big buff. Start at 66% hp and 50% buff to stab moves of the carrier.

Aftermath boosts the power of SD-like moves AND has it's normal effect as well but triggers off all moves.

Dancer operates like Snatch. Oricorio has spA and spe buffed by 15 points

Defeatist renamed to Panic Attack at works at 50% hp and less + makes you do 1.2x more damage but all support moves are locked out and your Pokemon picks moves randomly.

Komala get a move that's like sleeptalk but boosts any moves called by it by 1.2x and only picks offense attacks (called sleep fighting). Either a boost in speed or boosts in defense+hp.

Traunt makes every 2nd turn always move last but buffed defenses just for that turn.

Aimed to differentiate it from Mega Venusaur by making it a defensive support. It should be nice in Doubles/VGC, especially if paired with other Grass-Types, or even just on its own as a status-immune cleric. New access to Floral Healing further helps Mega Meganium cement its role as a support.
