Make it easy to catch, give it's entire viable movepool on a golden plate, give it a no brainer ability which basically lets you setup a Swords Dance on anything that isn't Mold Breaker Excadrill so you can spam attacks at +2 on the next turn which is aided by a broken ass type combo that can be walled only by a small amout of pokemon, rehash it's design from the game's mascot and then you're done.
If needed throw in an additional "backstory" (a stupid video before the game releases) and proceed to shill the fuck out of it in every way possible.
