What are /vp/'s thoughts on transferring mons caught on emulated games to the physical games?

In my quest for a living dex, I played through Sapphire and Ruby versions via emulator, caught everything in Hoenn without cheats, and then moved them to SS with PKHeX before transferring them to Black and then to Bank, both through the normal transfer means.

Anyone do the same?
