None of these guys ever appeared in the main anime, but:

>Silver appeared in Pokemon Generations
>Hugh appeared in the BW2 animated trailer

Will Hau ever get an animated appearance of any sort?

Chronicles isn't counted as part of the main anime series, it's considered a spin-off which is why it isn't included in the count for the upcoming 1000th episode.

Yeah, but unlike Origins, Generations and animated trailers, those specials are still part of the continuity as the main anime. The other characters from the Raikou special even reappeared in the actual anime at some point.
So unlike Hau and Hugh, Silver is confirmed to actually exist in the same world as Ash, but he was never relevant.

Jimmy/Gold/Ethan exists, Kris exists, Lyra exists, Silver exists
May and Brendan exist
Dawn, Lucas and Barry exist
Cheren and Bianca exist, but aren't the same age
Serena and the annoying 3 exist
Lillie and Gladion exist

1month. You all should accept it already, the necrozma movie-like cinematic was the animated trailer for USUM, they just used ingame 3d models instead
