Two weaknesses that are easily covered by other Types Fairy can be paired with, and one of which (Poison) has a Type immune to it (Steel). They made it resist Bug for no discernible reason. It took Ice's niche of wrecking Dragons and does it far better than Ice ever did. It shits on Dark because they felt like they had to compensate for Steel losing its resistance to it I guess. Psychic has fallen further into irrelevance with Fairy now hitting Fighting super effectively having relevant resistances, and weaknesses that rarely actually matter.
They released FOUR Fairy-type legendaries in the same generation that warped the meta around themselves thanks to their typing, stats, and auto-terrain abilities. They're basically the genies all over again.
