>>33965998Same here. First time playing Red I picked Charmander and picked it again in FireRed. never thought of picking Bulbasaur or Squirtle at all. Last year I decided to give Bulbasaur a quick try because I heard it was shit and useless so I thought It would be a run for giggles and messing around.
Turned out it's much better than I thought and I liked it enough that I prefer using it over Charmander. It grew on me up over the time and I even use M.Venusaur in competitive and I love it the most out of the three now.
Sleep Powder and Giga Drain are fucking awesome moves. the thing about disabling enemies and dealing damage while healing myself was a huge deal for me.
