As someone who used to watch wrasslan, I can tell you the only reason it went PG along-side other removals of its edge is mainly both because Linda Mcmahon tried to run for office and wanted to have a clean image of anything associated with her to win (even though just being associated with wrasslan to begin with doomed her because Vince is pure LEL), and because the Benoit incident scared half the company to death and made them too afraid after to do much of anything potentially physically dangerous (besides Shane because he's Vince's son with a hobby for jumping off tall things) for years after.

Two things -

1.) This meme that the south is full of idiots is retarded. The south is full of prestigious universities and intelligent people. Also, the CDC and NASA are here, and many natives of the region work there.

2.) Wrestling is absolutely not anymore popular in the south than it is anywhere else in the US.
