>>33975761I think it's ok. I had to get used to the change from the gen 4/5/6 style but I don't mind it. It's obviously them getting it ready to be inset into the one screen of the Switch though, so expect basically that but with the maybe being translucent or something. Less likely is that the main battle will be boxed off by info on the sides of the screen.
Honestly I'm kind of excited that we'll be able to, for example, touch the actual mon itself to see its info instead of the sprites on the bottom. Might be really neat.
Also scares me because it means we might be forced to run in only handheld mode. How I'd play it anyway, but a lot of people would probably be upset...
