- Battle Agency: Battle Frontier-esque facility tied to Festival Plaza where you can rent and battle Pokemon. The more connections you get online and the more you battle, the stronger the rentals are. You can battle people like Sophocles here.

- Legendary Pokemon can be encountered and caught in game.Mewtwo, Moltres, Zapdos, Articuno, Ho-Oh, Lugia, Entei, Suicune, Raikou, Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, Latios, Latias, Regice, Regirock, Registeel, Dialga, Palkia, Uxie, Mesprit, Azelf, Regigigas, Cresselia, Heatran, Giratina, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Cobalion, Terrakion, Virizion, Tornadus, Thundurus, Landorus, Yveltal, Xerneas, Zygarde. Many of them are version exclusive, and others need the other 2 members of your trio to get them.
