There's an infinite number of timelines for every single possibility and combination of possibilities ever. The UBs are from timelines that diverge dramatically (i.e. humans never existing in Buzzwole's world and Pheromosa being from a nuclear apocalypse). Cosmog and Necrozma are the only ones actually form Ultra Space (the space between dimensions) and thus are the only true Ultra Beasts. Screencap this.

that would suggest that the events of RGB finish in time for him to get over to RSE and provide aid. I always assumed that while TR was busy taking over Kanto, Archie was trying to flood the world with both protags beating the villain and becoming champion at the same time or within hours of each other.

ORAS May/Brendan won because ORAS Archie and Maxie are good guys who dindu nuffin
Nate/Rosa didn't even get the chance to start their journey before Ghetsis took over the region and forced everyone to release their pokemon
Hilbert/Hilda didn't cure N's autism s they failed
RSE May/Brendan failed and are probably dead
Dawn/Lucas got rebooted with the rest of the universe
