No, they are parallel universes. Just like how in Mario 64, another world exists if you go far enough out of bounds. Scientists have theorized this to be the case with our own 'universe'. It just would mean that the Pokemon universe is much much smaller then our own and doesn't take as much to get out of bounds into these clone universes.

Also, it seems like Deoxys is back to Mythical Status

I didnt see him in the trailer so I guess they're keeping him ORAS exclusive, which makes sense as it gives people a reason to go back and buy those in the long term

Still have my Deoxys from the Pokemon Rocks America tour back in gen 3. Feels good that he's mythic still, Deoxys is the best.

It's the multiverse. How do you explain Giovanni having Mewtwo, and this one existing as well? Unless it runs away.

I think you travel to parallel universes. A Kanto from before Mewtwo was captured by Red (Obviously not the whole of Kanto, but Cerulean Cave and other legendary locations)

Mythical is an official term as well as a coded terms in the game. Deoxys is still classified as a mythical. Christ the ORAS one even has the fateful encounter tag.

It's the major difference between the two groups but it doesn't actually mean anything. Mythicals are event only except for Deoxys, but being event only isn't what makes them Mythicals. It's an entirely separate classification, whether they're event only or not.

Doesn't really mean anything, I'd like to see another Mythical be encountered in USUM. Not to mention Deoxys never stopped being a Mythical just because he was in ORAS.

That's because Deoxys is a mythical Pokémon. They made it available in ORAS to sellsellsell but it went back to being a mythical apparently.

Deoxys' status as a Mythical never changed despite it being available in Gen 6 without an event. Usually being event only is just something they all have in common, it's not what makes them Mythical Pokemon. It's just a status that reflects their rarity and importance, same as Legendary Pokemon.

In the trailer the same areas that were blocked off in Lusamine's mansion were still blocked off with RR in control. So no, we get nothing. It's going to be like in ORAS where you have to go through the same hideout again.

I like that too. But I still wish the backgrounds for the battles resembled the areas you find them in, instead of being a generic misty background copied and pasted from the Hoopa legendaries in ORAS.

I agree but I do think this greenish backround is infinitely better than the wired pinkish one from ORAS even if it is just a recolor, this one feels much more natural
