I guess I'm one of the few that wasn't interested in the Battle Factory. Tbh I'd rather tackle facilities with my bros than some random mons I pick and then repeat. My only hope for a postgame facility now is the return of PWT or something that's 90% similar to it.

You can fight little fat thunder guy in factory and you couldn´t fight him in the battle tree.

Why would they put trainers in there, when they want to do a pwt?

Also I was never a huge fan of battle factory. I liked it, but the only reason it was nice because of the amount of battle facilites in emerald. I don´t care if it was rng shitfest, it was still fun as fuck.

This isn't fucking factory. Factory is renting NPC mons from your opponents. I don't fucking need other people's shit, I can train my own. The fun was in the dynamic team building using whatever the AI gives you, and earning better mons by beating them, not just fucking talking to NPCs. This is total horseshit. This is kinda like QR rental teams but without QR and whitout being forced to te online PvP, which is a good thing. It's literally like the old factory except the sets aren't made by GF.

You use other people's mons for the same reason you'd use the built-in ones: because you want to battle with a new team without thinking too much about teambuilding and bothering to breed/inject stuff. If anything, having access to a larger pool of sets to pick from is gonna be a bonus in the long run, provided that you don't live in some 3rd world shithole.
The lack of double battles and (apparently) not being able to switch mons mid-run is a bummer

What the fuck does that mean? In emerald you got whatever set 1 mons you rolled, then whatever your opponent had after each battle. There was no "pool."

I think it kind of assigns players a Pokemon. The set they showed on the official site is a Raikou with Electrium Z running Thunderbolt, Volt Switch, Shadow Ball and Protect. Probably not a set that most people would run, but sure enough, look on https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Battle_Tree/Pokémon_(001-251) and you can find that exact set.
Also note, the Raikou is at level 80, so can't have been Hyper Trained, yet it has 6IVs. Also, it has a 252/252 EV set with no extra 4, which is Gamefreak's signature style of EV set for Battle Tree.
The thunudurus also has Wild Charge. Who uses wild charge thundurus? https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Battle_Tree/Pok%C3%A9mon_(472-649) That's who.

Tl/dr they'll be Battle tree sets.
