Even better, could have its first stage be a normal hot doggo, then have the next be larger and with condiments that also work as part of its attacks, and a final one to basically go all-out with shit on it as a fire/ground type both to complete it and also to reference how the original breed was bred to dig deep into burrows to fight badgers.
