I run Nuzlockes a lot and somehow always end up with a Sandshrew/Sandslash. Named my first one Doug (dug), now every time I catch one their nicknames are real names with an earth pun (Clay, Cassandra, etc.)

I named a Bellsprout Vinny once, now any Bellsprout line Pokemon is nicknamed something Italian.

If you don't to use other gen Pokemon, BW
if you want an easy time, play ORAS
if you want a fairly easy time with some challenging moments, but a really slow beginning, go SM
