>>34025401Anon that you first spoke to here. I was convinced to by some friends last week and made plans. I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. I felt that the "Rainbow Hero" bit was overplayed, and was annoyed by how pointless Rocket was, but I loved the rest of it. I liked Verity and Sorrel quite a bit, and the building of characters and relationships throughout the film was a lot better than I had expected.
I cried like a bitch at Pikachu's voiced declaration to Ash near the climax.Would recommend, if you get the opportunity. If not, just look it up somewhere and watch. The "theater experience" felt pretty damn magical, though.
I'm 50-50 on Incineroar. On one hand,
I liked its animation; seeing how it moved around as it fought was cool as fuck and increased my appreciation for it. On the other hand, its actual behavior was very "stereotypical" of a cocky,
villainous character, as opposed to the more showy and good-natured personality you'd expect from what Game Freak's told us about it. Of course, it could have just been playing its role exceptionally well, but I somewhat doubt it.
