>>34028201>i enjoy linearity in its purest and the unskippable cutscene hell that gamefreak calls a storyGood for you anon.
Anyway, id like some goddamn missions already. Something like XYs and SunMoons post game Looker content but obviously a bit more refined and sensible. As well as having more varied stuff to do than just 8 gyms and a league. Instead of being a boring legend hunt again lets go through some dungeons or rescue missions first and then encounter a legend if possible. It feels like legendaries are just filler for you to find easily. And they dont feel as legendary as their name suggests. Id rather go through a puzzle map like Seafoam and find Articuno then go through a hole in the sky to fight Genies for the second time in a row.
As for camera, i wouldnt really care or would care unless they go full the full mario odyssey/breath of the wild exploration route to look for alternate paths and items. As it stands, its fine the way the top down look works. Mystery dungeon had pretty surroundings and it didnt need a camera to show it.
When it comes down to it, post game and nonlinearity boils down to "what else can i do in the game besides play a league challenge for the millionth time in a row?" And its why a lot of people cling to Battle Frontier. But i think you can expand on more than just Battle Frontier, especially for those who prefer story driven games and not so much the battling.
