Tell me again how they fit together in the background? They don't.

They don't even draw in highlights!? Its in fucking Hawaii where sunlight is always shining but there is no indication of that. Plus there still be draw shadows. But the artists or Director were like nope, lets draw 3 dark areas and call it shadow.

I liked a lot the first 20 or so episodes of BW.
Until that earthquake or whatever happened on japan that forced the team rocket to go back to what it has always been, make a lot of filler episodes and completely killed the plot.

Episodes are written many months in advance. Team Rocket going back to the way they were was already planned out before that earthquake. Hell, everything up to the Battle Subway mini arc was planned out before that earthquake.

Or do you just not actually know how anime is made and just repeat whatever you see someone else say cause you think they sound smart?

Anime episodes are scrapped, rewritten and changed on the fly due to complications all of the time. or at times, even completely halted. The Pokemon anime is no exception and this was actually admitted to be the case for BW.
