Do we have any info/indication that this is happening? It triggers me that I have RBY, but only GS on my 3DS. Needs whole trio. Also Crystal was dope.

Patches for Crystal were found in the romfs for GS. This has allowed people to get Crystal working with multiplayer on the 3DS VC, as well as whatever misc patches they decided to add. This means that yes, GF already has crystal ready for release, except for maybe the Japanese version since the patches apparently make it crash. We don't know when they're going to release it, though.

I think they never say why only GS ware re relase. Maybe im wrong, but i don't remenber anything in that regard.

Crystal for switch to announce its compatability with bank/3ds games for link trade and battles. Sometime before real switch game.

Because then most people would only buy Crystal, this way they'll by Crystal in addition to Gold or Silver. One of the many reasons why you should always pirate Pokémon games.

My lapse in Pokemon playing was around Crystal's launch through Diamond and Pearl. All the nostalgia I have for it is through playing an emulator. I swear the US release had some GBA deals because it wasthat late.

Crystal is a direct upgrade thats why only thing not making GS null void is the 7+ pokemon they removed from crystal
