Pic related was my favorite childhood non-pokemon mon game, you basically get to create whatever 3D mons you want although you only unlock certain limbs and features at a time. Based on what you draw and the colors you pic, it gets certain typings and moves.
The music is also pretty great, and you play in first person.
The story was touching to me as a kid
and iirc the girl gives you a first person hug at the end of the game but it'd probably be considered cringey nowadays or something.
The was a sequel where you can immediately fully create right away but the story wasn't as good and the game was a little glitchier iirc. Your playable character is your drawing instead of FP, though.
Both are fun if you want something weirder/different for a change but still works like pokemon.
>>34041365>played Spectrobes as a bab>eventually got the giga tool>ended up fucking my team up because I thought I was getting exp but I wasn't>stopped playing out of boredomEnded up having a friend steal my game from me, can't even remember if I beat it all or not. I think I did but I gave up on post-game. I never cared to play any of the sequels because even though you could play as Jeena later on it was only for some missions afaik.
Why the fuck even bother making a pokemon clone game unless you break the mold and offer what it does and more.
Even Fossil Fighters lets you play as a girl, what the fuck Disney?
