Sure, I can see a problem on the competitive standpoint, but I'm a shits-and-giggles battler. A base attacking stat of 80 makes even mid-power (55-75) moves usable in shits-and-giggles or storyline battling, and high-power (80-100) moves are usable even without STAB. But, then again, most opponents in shits-and-giggles or storyline have teams of Zero-V (0 IV & 0 EV in all stats) Pokemon, while competitive battlers have teams of at least 2V (in this case 252 EV in two stats; the most one can legitimately attain is 8V - 31 IVs in all stats and 252 EV in two of them) Pokemon.
