I can't wait for this game to come out officially next week just so I can watch everyone else can see how fucking terrible it is. Playing it the first time in SM is one thing, but going through all the cutscenes AGAIN in USUM is even more tedious and annoying as fuck

Pokemon is a game for kids.

I'll be watching the fallout closely.

I previously stated that USUM would either redeem gen 7 or cement it in the mainstream thought as the pile of shit it really is. I'm a realistic person so I expected the latter, and sure enough it seems like it's what's going to happen.

Its Sonys fault. They already monopolised the casual market so now all their exclusives are just movies. Look at games like uncharted or the last of us those games started the trend and the worse part is that they are praised by the critics. The worst part is there's no fucking skip option. Half of the people, hell probably even more than that, will have already seen 95% of these cutscenes in the base game and they're completely identical here, yet there's no way to skip past any of it.

I got to the second island before I quit because I was playing the same damn game I played a year ago, except it doesn't even have that new game shine to engage me so I'm just mashing A through literally everything (including battles because the game is still piss easy).

Same here, I can't stand it.
I want to do the RR episode, but not only are they asking for you to pay $40 for what should have been DLC, but also to start the entire game over again and go through the same endless cutscenes you've already seen. I'll have to suffer through all this bullshit if I want to get to the new content.

It's absolutely fucking insane, Game Freak needs to get a swift kick in the head.

BW, which apparently none of you fuckers played. 90% of SM/USUM's flaws such as difficulty, cutscenes, useless dialogue and no postgame started in it.
