I use one with Double Hit and Technician with Life Orb and hits decently to everything who doesn't resist it. Do you think the new move could be better as it can hit up to 5 times?

Also, Ambipom thread why not?

Some basic math, though I prob. got it wrong:
>Double Hit BP: 35
>35 * 1.5 (Technician) = 52.5
>52.5 * 1.5 (STAB) = 78.75
>78.75 * 2 (hits twice) = 157.5 BP
Now let's look at Tail Slap, using Skill Link (multi-hit moves always hit the max number of times) like GF undoubtedly intended:
>Tail Slap BP: 25
>25 * 1.5 (STAB) = 37.5
>37.5 * 5 (max. hits) = 187.5
Tail Slap potentially does more damage. With Technician, Tail Slap will hit an average of 3 times.
>25 * 1.5 = 37.5 * 1.5 = 56.25 * 3 = 168.75
Again, Tail Slap will do more damage, assuming it hits three times. Either way, however, Double Hit has 100% accuracy, while Tail Slap has 85%. Another issue is that Tail Slap is the only move it gets to use with Skill Link if I'm not mistaken. You're better off with Technician, but whether or not to use Tail Slap comes down to if you want consistency or power.

My mistake, Double Hit actually has 90 accuracy. That's what I get for going off shit memory. There's no real reason to run Double Hit over Tail Slap with that in mind.

Yeah Technician is better because it also power up Fake out and Beat up, my answer to ghosts, rock and steel. I use it as a lead so it hits 6 times.
