I just reached the volcano and i am in utter disbelieve. For some reason i was CONVINCED Gamefreak would expand the Alola region in USUM, like making the whole back area of the waterfalls and meteor ponds acessible and also expand the volcano area. They literally changed nothing.
Until now USUM is pretty much the same as SM with very minor unmeaningful changes.

>Rotom dex is more annoying than before
>the cutscenes are much more of a drag if you played SM
>no nationaldex
>surf minigame is as boring as expected
>besides 1 new event mon, the third Necrozma form and UB adhesives evolution there is nothing new that wasnt already shown before

I really hope the lategame and postgame will somewhat save these games, but i am steadily losing hope as the game goes on.
