My hope was always that there would be no Gen 4 remakes in generation 7. I want them in Generation 8 on the Switch so that they'll have a battle engine that doesn't lag like a motherfucker. They're spacing out generations between remakes now because if we got a remake every generation, Gen 7 would have Unova remakes.

ORAS was shit so I don't want more remakes. If I want Sinnoh I'm better off replaying Platinum. At the rate GF is going, remakes would just be overcasualized trash with constant cutscenes thrown in with post-game left out. There's literally no point.

Gen 1 starters because they were given to you in X/Y and Gen 3 starters because the remakes. Megas are a 1 gen gimmick, and they probably wouldn't have been in gen 7 at all if it weren't for the Mega timeline lore shit.
