We get a battle factory, the ability to own bigger Pokemon comparable to totems, more interaction with Colress, and every villain from the past 20 years of mainseries games is returning with legendaries on their party. We also got 5 new Pokemon and 4 new forms. We got a new trial in the form of Mina's fetch quest which incorporates battling the other trial captains for flower petals, and a battle facility similar to the battle factory. There's also the new rotom dex functions. There have been major flips in character roles due to the change in focus as well. Just because you dislike it, doesn't mean it's nothing.
