It's public knowledge that the third parties were largely caught with their pants down on the Switch and won't have shit ready until 2019, so Nintendo will have to continue supporting the Switch until then. Hopefully they'll pump some serious dough into it and it'll be more innovative than not at all. We already know a bunch of youngins were on USUM while the veterans were already on the Switch game and I'd be shocked if talks of a mainline Pokemon game on the Switch didn't start while the console itself was in development.
