Gen 6 was megas and gen 7 had regional variants and Z moves. Will Gen 8 add more of the previous 2 or make something entirely new? If so, what do you think it will be?

Nah Game Freak loves dropping gimmicks and never bringing them back. Gen VI introduced a fourth evolution, gen VII introduced a fifth move, so I think gen VIII will do something similar. Maybe a 7th pokemon or second ability somehow?

It will probably have regional variants based on developer comments, but I'm not sure they're bringing Megas back, or adding more exclusive Z-moves. Seems like they're probably try to take a more minimalistic approach this time after all the 3DS feature bloat.
