Obviously they do.
They are just pissed this isn't a new adventure to take their virtual friends on.

I really want to like Pokemon because it was a huge part of my childhood and the first video game I ever played.
Thing is, it's hard when every new game feels like a step down form the prior one and the magic of the games loses its effect, especially as the audience is getting older.

I think they're just ignorant, not lazy. They don't think "man, I don't want to have to render this whole power plant", they think "no one would want to explore this whole power plant" before it even gets to the point they think about the work involved. There's a difference. Which is worse is debatable.

Until GF gave up and prioritize a false sense of novelty via "new" gimmicks instead of deeper Pokemon design and care for stats or post game.
