The 3DS might be the worst Pokemon system but Alola still had some cool designs, and it's necessary for Dex completion.
Plus Kalos had Pumpkaboo and Trevenant.

This would actually make sense if they included all but the 3D titles, and if they allot you both of each duo-title alongside each 3rd version, and you can transfer Pokemon in-between versions via the pal park establishments or new created ones, including from gens 1 and 2
