GF keeps succumbing to idiot casual fans. There is no regard for veterans and competitive players. Masuda is selling us all out for casuals. Battle Tree normal now allows legendaries, mythicals, and no level scaling until super mode. GF is fucking making facilities easier.

What GF did with the Battle Tree seems harmless because most of us play Super Mode. But it shows the direction GF is going.

Considering how with SM people bitched that the Battle Tree went all-in without lube from the start making it a pain to gather the hold items from DP rewards needed for breeding and competitive I'm not surprised.

It's a good idea even for hard core players. It lets you establish yourself to get to raising competitive stuff faster. The game gives you no trophies for the basic mode and you only fight baby/low BST mons anyway.

GameFreak makes it easier for more people, including hardcore gamers, to get competitive Pokémon faster? They let casual gamers use more Pokémon in a section of the game competitive players won't play longer than necessary but that casual players may never progress past? Boo fucking hoo.
