Naganadel might be decent against it. Immune to poison, can remove Toxic Spikes, can either set up to +2 and use Devastating Drake or use Draco Meteor repeatedly since Haze resets the -2. It can also use T-bolt.

I'm still iffy about her usage in balance as it kills momentum for both players.

Knock off made the prediction game better if you use trapping but that's about it, Tokapex is still underwhelming.

From my experience Tokapex is still prone to get trapped and used as bait without haze, forcing switches rely on her walling something and having the offensive, Tokapex is a damage control switch in and mostly reactive.

If I had to rely on a pivot that forces things out I'd rather rely on Tangrowth than in Tokapex, but again that comes with team composition or probably I use too many double dancers or Medicham to care about Tokapex.

Incidentally, this makes Toxapex a viable stallbreaker with Block/Toxic/Recover/Scald(or Haze). It lets it trap and remove common stallmons such as Chansey, Unaware Clefable and Tangrowth.

Not for long since stall gained a lot of new toys. Other than Toxapex getting buffed there a lot of viable mons getting Defog, including cancermons like Poison Heal Gliscor and Rotom-W.

Stall still tries to survive with banded pursuit users, it's kinda fucked up for it on most match-ups though.

Honestly as said before Tokapex is a semistall and balance mon, no other playstyle can make use of it as Tokapex cone with some serious momentum killing implications.

It can potentially become a wincon but most of the time it just forces stuff out for double switches to be advantageous for the Tokapex player.

Stall doesn't rely on momentum as much as the other playstyles.
And a huge part of Toxapex's usefulness comes from its scouting capabilities, thanks to its bulk, Regenerator and immunity to Toxic Spikes, so it can afford switching in and out a lot.

It has 4MSS now. Scald and Recover and mandatory, so you need to pick two of Haze, Knock Off and Toxic/Toxic Spikes.

If you're going to run Block you need to turn it into a dedicated stallbreaker like >>34102228
said so it can't play its usual role as a wall that way.

Much safer than predicting a nasty plot or draco though, the common pex is ohko'd by a +2 draco, making a misprediction there is far more deadly as naga can 2hko with a +2 sludge/coverage move followed by z-draco after the haze or just ohko with draco/z-draco and start snowballing with its shiny new +1 speed

Rotom has the same problem as Lando as in it has to give up a slot for Defog.

So it'll lose it's recovery in Pain Split, and it'll get knocked off when it switches into Pex, making it useless.

Rotom 3HKOs Pex unless it wants to run SPA(it doesn't because it's supposed to DEFOG/Annoy) and Pex has Recover/Toxic.

0 SpA Rotom-Wash Volt Switch vs. 252 HP / 64 SpD Toxapex: 114-134 (37.5 - 44%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
