Now, if you go into a shiny portal you are guaranteed a shiny. Even if you save in front of the mon and reset, its always shiny. I've gotten a Medicham, a Yanmega and a Floatzel in the space of an hour. I soft reseted the floatzel twice, it was shiny all 3 encounters.
This is genuinely the "jumping the shark" moment for shinies
