Who else doesn't care about online or battle frontier?

My favorite thing about Pokemon is replayability, i like replaying the games over and over with different teams, nuzlockes, and monotype runs etc...
For me SM and USUM didn't fail for lack of post game, it failed because of all the unskippable cutscenes and tutorials. I wanna play Pokemon, i don't care about the story, I can enjoy it once but replays are torture, so many modern games have skippable cutscenes there's really no excuse anymore...

I have put about 270 hours into Moon, playing though the game once and dedicating the rest of my game experience to breeding and building fun teams for the Battle Tree.

Couldn't care less about the half-assed story, all I want is a lot of customization in move tutors, items, different rulesets (facilities), comfortable training and breeding, and ofcourse online battles.

Propably going to play through it the first time, rolling a random type and doing mono-type, then getting my first half-assed team built up for the Battle Tree to farm BP, and eventually being able to make more competitive teams and also fun memeteams.

Battle Frontier in a new gen game with the availability of literally all mons with all possible abilities and moves would add so much fucking replayability that GF could easily take 2-3 years to work on the switch game.

I mostly like collecting and exploring, usually enjoy the story the first time but because it is a children's game they don't have the depth to be worth reading through again and again, when I do get both versions it's usually just to get exclusives and see how the plot points/lore dumps revolving around the cover legend differs. 3rd versions I'm iffy on, my first game was crystal and I was a kid so I was just happy my parents finally got me one of the games, played yellow on an emulator once to get the gen 1 experience since I missed out, enjoyed gen 3 so much I bought every game except leaf green and found emerald lackluster because the battle frontier stuff didn't interest me and pokemon rumors were still easily spread as fact online so a lot of the "new features" didn't exist and I already had my mostly complete living dex so other than a few johto mon that weren't available through colosseum and gale of darkness it didn't offer much and if I remember correctly contests were all condensed into one building 60% of the way through the game so there were fewer things to do for the majority of it sure contests weren't great but it was something different and still fun and a nice break from grinding, even though it looked cool never picked up platinum because of how little changed in emerald and with a complete living dex -mythicals that got distributed eventually it wasn't worth the price as a kid in high school with no regular personal income and other games I wanted, took a chance on bw2 because sequels not 3rd versions so maybe they'd be interesting and it was okay definitely a new story but not as engaging as the previous one and the changes to the region were neat. On the fence about usm because yes there are new pokemon and a few new places but they're late game with some being version exclusives and I just found the time/motivation to finish sun and it kinda sucked after moon since Alola didn't have much replay value.
