The more the save file has been changed, the less likely you'll find something useful. There's a flag comparison in pkhex but I haven't looked at it a lot (the saves posted so far there's about 8+ flags different, you need one directly before and after, the ones we have are too different). Should also be possible to tell based on hex differences which is probably easier than whatever pkhex's interface is supposed to be but the game apparently checks for modifications to the save file which would probably add a confounding factor. Also some changes like trainer gender swap fucks up the game

They went onto baidu and flamed some guy who compiled builds with other merged PRs, while their own nightly took months to merge. Then they announced that they were making their own builds with the latest features and the first few days PRs were merged hourly, then it took days, a few days and now the Canary barely has any of the PRs that were originally in the BE builds.
If you post any issue, it has to be on the master build and you need to supply a log, a screenshot and a save file, it has to be released, your OS and what build it was/what PRs were in it.
