Anyone getting kind of worried that the reason GF made shinies easier to get is because they're not going to allow Pokémon transfers from 3DS to Switch?

No. The entire point of Pokémon Bank is that it’ll allow transfers across future generations and systems regardless of hardware compatibility.

And leaving my Ribbon master on handheld ? I hope the fuck not. I didin't brought them through many versions to leave them before Switch.

Nah, that would be pretty fucking stupid. There's zero justification for them to abandon Pokemon Bank already. I wouldn't particularly mind it because I feel like it would allow people to let go of what came before and just play the game for what it is without having it stack up to previous ones for no reason but there's no real reason for it.

Shinys are just called "alternate color" in japan anyway. They don't have to be rare for all mons.

They made them easier to get because interest got higher for them as they became less of a "secret club" and have now been outright acknowledged through in-game. It's the same reason why breeding and checking hidden stats like EVs and IVs became easily available. upply and demand isn't hard to understand at all.

I actually hope they don’t allow bank transfers right away. This way hacked mons will be locked out and online will be fun at least for a few months like the first.weeks of XY.

I think if they decide to go for a soft reebot and the initial game only has 100-200 mons plus 80 new ones, it is a strong possibility. GF is lazy enough to not ha e all the models ready on release (inb4 the models are already made. Yes but they will still need new textures and animations)

If Nintendo has a brain, online shouldn't have hax as a problem anymore. Paid subscription for online should come alongside dedicated people monitoring the online service.

However with Nintendo, who knows if they will come up with a competent service, since they haven't really so far. Stopping hax is actually pretty easy in general despite what hackers may cry. Ever notice Blizzard games are fairly devoid of them?
