My favorite shiny is Litwik. It's my first shiny that I've actually put effort into trying to get back in B/W. This was all before the shiny charm and shit (I don't remember if shiny charm was a thing back in gen 5 but all I know is I didn't have it when I got litwik.)
The only time I've hacked my pokemon is when I lost my Black cart, along with my litwik. I injected my shiny litwik in and I haven't used or leveled it up.
