To be honest, i think its not gamefreak's fault why we have a lucklaster game (USUM), its all because of nintendo exec.
Nintendo execs creates the lineup for every gme throughout the year. MAYBE, since gamefreak's pokemon is a BIG CASH COLLECTOR in nintendo, they push and rushes the game developer to create something new each year with a rush time framed for them to work on. Theyre milking every bits of pokemon possible.
I really wish theyd released the switch pokemon in the early 2019 and not in 2018. Having pokemon in switch is a huge leap for gamefreak, they only have year or just barely 2 years to covert all their files to switch which is really hard thing to do, considering Gamefreaks specialty is portable hardwares
